August 15EAB files the Notice of Intent to conduct an election.
August 18 Requests for contract extensions are due.
August 25Last day for Employers to upload the voter list.
August 26EAB issues notice for show cause hearings.
August 28Employer Show Cause Hearings
September 1Last day for the CEO to approve the voter list.
September 2EAB issues notice for show cause hearings.
September 4CEO Show Cause Hearings
September 9EAB issues Notice of Election Fees.
September 19

Final day for the CEO to pay the election fee.  

Final day for the parties to finalize the voter list.

September 22EAB files Notice to Conduct an Election.
October 14Voting in the Fall Election begins.
October 28Voting in the Fall Election ends.
November 1Deadline for EAB to issue orders based on election results.
November 10Deadline for any post-election challenges.

Available Training

Please join us on June 11, 2025 at 2:30 p.m., for a training session geared toward employer and employee organization representatives for the Fall 2025 election.  If your organization has been identified as a participant in this election, we will be sending additional information via mail, email, and through the EDMS system.  You can attend in-person at 6200 Park Avenue, Des Moines, IA, but space is limited.  You can also attend virtually.  Please download the Fall 2025 Election Training letter for more details.  Contact the EAB at eab.elections@eab.iowa.gov, if you have any other questions or to register for in-person attendance.   

Videos for training related to voting for members and the election process for employer and employee organization representatives will be posted here once they are available.
