Spring 2026 Recertification and Retention Election Timeline

| January 1 | Employers can begin uploading a voter list. |
| January 15 | EAB files the Noticeof Intent to conduct an election. |
| January 20 | Requests for contract extensions are due. |
| January 26 | Last day for Employers to upload the voter list. |
| January 27 | EAB issues notice for show cause hearings. |
| January 29 | Employer Show Cause Hearings |
| February 2 | Last day for the CEO to approve the voter list. |
| February 3 | EAB issues notice for show causehearings. |
| February5 | CEO Show Cause Hearings |
| February 9 | EAB issues Notice of Election Fees. |
| February 19 | Final day for the CEO to pay the election fee. Final day for the parties to finalize the voter list. |
| February 20 | EAB files Notice to Conduct an Election. |
| March 3 | Ballots for the Spring election will be mailed. |
| March 27 | Voting in the Spring Election ends. |
| April 6 | Deadline for any post-election challenges. |
Available Training
The Spring election is conducted via mail-in ballot and does not utilize phone or online voting. However, some information is still managed through the internal election system. Below are some quick tutorials on how to upload and then approve the voter lists.
